It is a culmination of processes which includes seasons, plant selection and arrangement, garden construction, soils, environment and your intended use of space. Landscape design will add both beauty and value to your property.

Van Vulpen Design was founded by Linda van Vulpen, Certified Landscape Designer, in 1995. It provides an independent landscape design service creating innovative designs for the residential and commercial community. Van Vulpen Design has completed designs for residential homes, apartment buildings, a resort, a golf course and industrial property.

Van Vulpen Design creates a plan to match your particular needs & interests, while maintaining functionality and sensitivity to the natural environment.

The principal designer is Linda van Vulpen (Certified Landscape Designer) who has a strong design and horticulture background. She graduated from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College with Honours in a Diploma of Technology in Landscape Horticulture.

Volunteer Community Projects:

• School Grounds Naturalization Project - Under the direction of The Ecology Action Centre 1996-1997, design and consultation services provided to two schools within the project to reclaim asphalt space
• George P. Vanier Jr. High School - Site Planning Project 1997, Grounds improvement
• Communities in Bloom - Halifax County, 1999, Garden display design/coordinator as a volunteer in Landscape Nova Scotia.
